Pool Technician

Duties Perform routine pool maintenance including water testing, chemical balancing, and filter cleaning to ensure optimal water quality. Conduct thorough pool cleaning tasks such as skimming debris, brushing surfaces, vacuuming floors, and cleaning filters to maintain a pristine appearance. Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators using hand tools and power tools to restore full functionality. Inspect pool systems regularly for signs of wear or malfunction and perform necessary repairs or replacements promptly. Maintain detailed service records of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for each client's pool. Follow safety protocols during all service procedures to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and clients. Communicate effectively with clients regarding maintenance schedules, repairs needed, or safety tips to enhance customer satisfaction. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues with pool equipment efficiently. Experience with equipment repair, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems. Proficiency in pool maintenance tasks such as chemical testing, water balancing, and cleaning techniques. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools necessary for repairs and routine maintenance. Service technician experience preferred; ability to troubleshoot complex system problems is a plus. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills for record keeping.
