Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pool Technician and become a vital part of maintaining sparkling, safe, and inviting swimming environments. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing routine pool maintenance, cleaning, and equipment repairs to ensure optimal operation and safety standards. Your expertise will help create enjoyable experiences for pool users while supporting the upkeep of our state-of-the-art facilities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop technical skills and work outdoors in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. Responsibilities Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to maintain cleanliness and water quality Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as checking water levels, balancing chemicals, and inspecting filtration systems to ensure proper operation Utilize hand tools and power tools to repair or replace pool equipment including pumps, filters, valves, and heaters Diagnose mechanical issues with pool systems and execute effective repairs promptly to minimize downtime Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with health regulations Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and repairs for each pool site Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures to prepare pools for peak use periods or winterization Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting Prior experience in pool maintenance or as a service technician is highly preferred Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in equipment repair and maintenance Strong understanding of pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing procedures Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy equipment, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintenance tasks Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are often required for travel between sites Join us in delivering exceptional pool experiences through expert maintenance and repair!
