Pool Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our professional maintenance team. Age 18 and older with good driving record. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation, cleanliness, and safety of swimming pools through routine maintenance, cleaning, and equipment repairs. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with pool systems and tools, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Perform regular pool maintenance tasks including water testing, chemical balancing, and filtration system checks to ensure optimal water quality and safety. Conduct thorough cleaning of pools, including skimming debris, vacuuming, brushing surfaces, and maintaining surrounding areas. Diagnose issues with pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or replacements as needed. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for equipment installation, repair, or maintenance projects. Inspect pool systems for potential problems and implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed service records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities for each client site. Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to ensure a safe working environment. Skills All of the following are ideal. We will assess your skills and adjust training as needed. Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool systems and equipment. Experience with equipment repair and troubleshooting in a pool maintenance setting. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for various repair tasks. Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques and chemical balancing procedures. Previous experience as a service technician or in a similar maintenance role is preferred. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify issues proactively. Effective communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
