This is a full-time opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, vendors, and staff.

Pay:

$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Job Summary The Porter will be responsible for assisting with the overall cleanliness, upkeep, and day-to-day maintenance of the apartment community. In this role, you will help maintain the appearance of the property by ensuring common areas, building exteriors, grounds, and other community spaces are clean, organized, and well maintained. This position is ideal for someone who is reliable, hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working as part of a maintenance team in a residential property setting. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain cleanliness of common areas, hallways, corridors, windows, building exteriors, grounds, parking lots, and other community areas. Remove trash and recycling daily from the building and transport it to outside dumpster areas. Remove trash and debris from the community perimeter on a daily basis. Clean apartments at the time of turnover and assist with preparing market-ready units. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform general cleaning duties as needed. Monitor and report any safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or repair needs to management. Assist senior maintenance staff with work orders and other assigned tasks. Support the overall upkeep and appearance of the residential community. Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, visitors, and vendors. Qualifications Previous porter, janitorial, custodial, maintenance, or facilities support experience preferred. Residential apartment community experience is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, carrying, cleaning, and working throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks thoroughly. Must be courteous, professional, dependable, and reliable. Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner. Basic knowledge of safety procedures and property maintenance practices preferred. Must be able to work the required schedule, including Saturdays.
