This individual can be looking to start their career or have previous experience as a technician. Indel Power Group is a distributor/dealer for major brands such as mtu , Daimler/Mercedes, Perkins, PSI Engines, Detroit Diesel, Kohler, Cummins, Caterpillar, and Volvo Penta. Key Responsibilities Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls Commitment to safety and cleanliness Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes Use low and high voltage load banks for testing and repair of generator sets Determine corrective action through inspection of failed parts Order replacement parts and services in efficient and effective manner Perform electrical and mechanical repairs to the engine, generator, or components Perform startup and commissioning on large genset units with automatic transfer switches This position requires occasional driving Why Indel Power Group Competitive compensation package, DOE Rewarding work environment Opportunities for relocation & advancement Long established, family-owned business
