Job Description

Busy Sweeping business with over 25 years of service in need of 3rd shift sweeper driver. Open to Part Time and Full Time. Reliability and strong work ethic is a must. The position starts nightly at 830pm at our shop in Londonderry NH. We are located 2 minutes off I93 at Exit 4. Routes cover Massachusetts and New Hampshire territory. The candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of a sweeper truck. Candidate should be self motivated and able to work diligently alone while on shift. Valid drivers license and clean driving record required.
Key Responsibilities Operate Sweeper Truck:
Safely operate a specialized non-CDL street sweeper truck to clean parking lots, sidewalks, and other commercial areas.
Debris Removal:
Sweep and remove leaves, litter, trash, and other debris from all parts of the property.
Trash Can Service:
Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and wipe down lid surfaces.
Walkway Maintenance:
Use a backpack blower and manual tools to clear debris from sidewalks, curbs, and other walkways.
Safety & Inspections:
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the sweeping truck, report any equipment issues, and adhere to all safety procedures.
Route Management:
Follow assigned routes, complete tasks efficiently, and track completed work.
Documentation:
Maintain logs of completed routes and other required information.
Key Requirements & Skills Driver's License:
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are typically required.
Physical Stamina:
The ability to get in and out of the truck multiple times, walk several miles, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds is necessary. Attention to
Detail:
A strong focus on detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and accuracy in reporting.
Self-Motivation:
The ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Situational Awareness:
Strong awareness while navigating traffic and operating equipment in a commercial environment.
