$28-$30 per hourPosition OverviewWe're seeking an experienced Powertrain Automotive Warranty Agent. This role is ideal for automotive professionals with a strong background in powertrain diagnostics, warranty analysis, and root cause investigation who want to apply their expertise in a consultative, analytical environment.

What You'll DoReview and evaluate Powertrain Prior Approval (PA) requestsProvide clear, timely prior approval decisions and technical guidance to dealership service teamsCommunicate with dealership service managers and technicians via web-based systems and phone supportAnalyze repair strategies, diagnostics, and failure data to support accurate warranty outcomesApply service documentation, including TSBs, SSMs, GSBs, and Workshop Manuals, to technical decisionsIdentify trends, repeat failures, and emerging powertrain issues to support continuous improvementCollaborate with internal teams to resolve complex service and warranty concernsRequired QualificationsStrong computer skills, including accurate typing and system navigationExcellent written communication and documentation skillsProven background in powertrain diagnostics and repairSolid understanding of diagnostic processes, root cause analysis, and failure validationAbility to recognize patterns and trends in repeat or emerging technical issuesPreferred QualificationsHands-on automotive repair or dealership service experiencePrevious automotive warranty or prior approval experienceFamiliarity with parts catalogs and service/repair documentationExperience working in a dealership service departmentASE or state automotive certificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Strong interpersonal and customer-facing communication skillsExperience with systems (PTS, QLS, AWS, OWS)Employee BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and pet insurance | 401(k) Retirement Savings Plans | Employee Assistance Program (EAP) | Commuter/Parking Accounts | People Perks | Health Savings Account (HSA) | AD & D InsuranceClick 'Apply Now' to submit your resume and a recruiter will connect with you soon about any questions you have and to get you started on this new journey.
