GENERAL DESCRIPTION

CiTi BOCES is seeking a Practical Nursing Instructor who will be responsible for student instruction for the Adult Education Practical Nursing Program.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Practical Nursing Instructor will:

• Deliver theory instruction aligned with course outcomes; Develop and maintain instructional materials
• Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Maintain accurate records
• Support a safe, positive and professional learning environment
• Collaborate with faculty via meetings, trainings, curriculum development sessions and contributing instructional recommendations and feedback
• Participate in student advisement and academic support, offering guidance that promotes student success, program readiness and professionalism
• Deliver Lab and Clinical instruction, including pre
• and post
• clinical discussions, as scheduled
• Fulfill additional program needs as assigned, including providing classroom, lab or clinical coverage as appropriate

• Minimum 3 years as RN
• RN with Nursing Education MSN or RN with Bachelor's Degree, pursuing Nursing Education MSN.
