Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-K Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for preschool-aged children. Your leadership will foster a love of learning while supporting each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. As a key educator, you will implement innovative curriculum development strategies, manage classroom activities, and collaborate with families to ensure every child's success. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and independence among preschool children. Manage classroom activities and behavior management strategies to foster positive social interactions and emotional well-being. Collaborate with families through regular communication to support each child's developmental progress and address individual needs, including special education or early intervention services. Conduct ongoing assessments of children's progress using standardized testing methods and adapt instruction accordingly. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides to ensure high-quality childcare and educational delivery. Maintain detailed records of student development, attendance, lesson plans, and other documentation necessary for compliance and reporting purposes. Support children's welfare by promoting healthy habits, safety protocols, and overall child welfare standards within the classroom setting. Experience Prior classroom management experience in early childhood education or preschool settings is essential. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across multiple domains such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori techniques. Experience working with children with diverse needs, including special education or early intervention programs. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in toddler care and preschool instruction. Proven ability to engage children through creative lesson planning and interactive teaching methods. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment tools. Previous private school or daycare experience is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm for fostering a positive learning environment is essential.
