Duties Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to foster holistic childhood development. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Engage with children through interactive lessons focused on early intervention strategies and special education needs when applicable. Manage classroom routines, including daily lesson planning, transitions, and behavior management to ensure a productive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child's individual growth, including early childhood education milestones and child welfare considerations. Use standardized testing tools and formative assessments to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Incorporate classroom management techniques that promote safety, respect, and inclusivity for all students. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential; classroom experience in private schools or Montessori environments is highly valued. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies. Demonstrated ability in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education alongside math and physical education activities. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and students' families. Familiarity with classroom management tools and techniques to maintain an organized learning environment. Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with children requiring additional support or accommodations is preferred. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is a plus; ongoing professional development in toddler care or preschool teaching is encouraged.
