POSITION DESCRIPTION
Under general supervision, perform a wide variety of instructional support services to a diverse population of students in an atmosphere of kindness that encourages active inquiry, emergent curriculum, fosters individual growth and promote respect for self, others and the world in which they live to ensure that all students learn the basic and essential skills at each level.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Under general supervision, perform a wide variety of instructional support services to a diverse population of students in an atmosphere of kindness that encourages active inquiry, emergent curriculum, fosters individual growth and promote respect for self, others and the world in which they live to ensure that all students learn the basic and essential skills at each level.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

Work with the teacher in planning and implementing a program of instruction that adheres to the school's philosophy, goals and objectives E 2. Work with the teacher in making purposeful and appropriate lesson plans that provide for effective teaching strategies and maximize time on task E 3. Work with the teacher in planning and implementing a program of study designed to meet individual needs of students E 4. Work with the teacher in encouraging student enthusiasm for the learning process and the development of good study habits E 5. Work with the teacher in providing progress through authentic observations E 6. Use effective oral and written expression E 7. Recognize learning problems and make referrals to the teacher E 8. Other related duties as assigned 9.
