Precision CNC Lathe and Mill Operator

Precision CNC Lathe and Mill Operator Full time position for an experienced CNC Machinist in a busy quality CNC machine shop supporting government and commercial clients. A minimum of 1 year of experience operating CNC turning centers (CNC mill AND lathe preferred) is required. A minimum of 1 year of experience in CNC Mill or CNC Lathe setup is preferred. Responsibilities include:

Accurately read technical drawings Verify dimensional characteristics of parts Accurate use of measuring tools Competent use of hand tools; deburring Prioritizing tasks and maintaining production goals Operate CNC machines from provided work instructions from work order or set up personnel Ability to complete and learn CNC Lathe and CNC Mill setups Completion of all required paperwork in a timely manner Maintain a clean, safe work environment Reliable attendance and strong communication skills

Requirements:

Previous CNC Operator experience: mill and lathe; minimum 1 year Previous CNC Mill or Lathe setup experience preferred; Self-starter with a positive team focused attitude GD&T print reading Can indicate vises and fixtures Knowledge of machining principles Knowledge of calipers, micrometers, metrology Must be able to lift 60 lbs Reaching, standing and stretching are required. Experience with CNC machine maintenance a plus Compensation based on experience and education.
