Duties Prepare ingredients according to recipes and menu specifications, ensuring freshness and quality. Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients. Support the cooking team by organizing workstation supplies and maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen. Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all ingredients. Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours. Maintain inventory levels by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages. Support catering events and special functions with efficient food prep and setup. Requirements Hands-on experience with menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and food handling in a restaurant or food service setting. Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with kitchen equipment operation and basic culinary procedures preferred. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving customers and supporting colleagues.
