Trinity View is offering a full-time position for a Prep Cook to join our Dining Services Team. Compensation Pay Range:

$16-$21 per hour Weekend Shift Differential Available Key Responsibilities Prepare cold foods such as vegetables, salads, fruits, and beverages, as well as ingredients for recipes, following instructions from the Cook or Assistant Director of Dining Services. Set up meal service areas, staff dining room, and ensure supplies are replenished as needed. Deliver excellent customer service by addressing resident concerns and offering alternatives when necessary. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, storage, and dishwashing areas, including tasks like mopping, dishwashing, and sanitizing workstations. Stock and organize diet kitchens, cabinets, refrigerators, and supplies to ensure efficient operation. Record equipment and food temperatures and assist with audits to support kitchen efficiency. Attend training sessions and practice new skills to enhance job performance. Adhere to all safety standards and facility policies at all times. Qualifications Completion of some high school coursework is required; a diploma or equivalent is preferred. Ability to pay attention to detail and follow instructions for recipes and checklists. Strong customer service skills, with the capacity to multitask quickly without compromising quality or safety. Previous experience in food service is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, bend, lift, and carry throughout the workday. Comfortable working in environments with extreme heat or cold.
