Pre/Post-Op Nurse (RN or LPN)

Stone Ridge Surgery Center is seeking a highly motivated, compassionate, Pre/Post-Operative Nurse to join our team. Full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Education/Certifications:

Applicants must possess a valid Nebraska nursing license, currently possess or be willing to obtain active

ACLS/BLS

certifications, and the ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.

Description/Duties:

Reporting to the Clinical Director, this position is responsible for providing direct nursing care in the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.

Duties include:

Perform preoperative assessments and confirm patient readiness for procedure Verify informed consent, surgical site, and required documentation Prepare patients for surgery including IV access, medications, and education Assist procedural team with patient positioning, monitoring, and safety measures Monitor physiologic status and respond to changes in condition Provide Phase I and/or Phase II recovery care per scope of practice Educate patients and caregivers on discharge instructions and follow-up care Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely Adhere to infection prevention, sterilization, and patient safety standards Participate in emergency response and stabilization for transfer if needed Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and care team for efficient flow Support quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and competency requirements No nights/holidays/weekends. Competitive compensation package based upon experience. Perioperative experience preferred. Pay:

$32.00 - $42.00 per hour
