Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning while ensuring each child's developmental needs are met. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of preschoolers in a dynamic setting focused on early childhood education excellence. Duties Assist lead teachers with implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including literacy, math, and social-emotional activities Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop essential social skills Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and learning through play Help with classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining a clean, safe environment Provide individualized attention to children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or other developmental challenges Support toddlers and preschoolers with routines such as snack time, nap time, and bathroom breaks Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to early childhood development Requirements Prior experience working in preschool or daycare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development and behavior management techniques Familiarity with curriculum development for literacy education, math, Montessori methods, or similar approaches Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues Ability to manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment Certification or coursework in special education or early childhood education is desirable Passion for working with young children and supporting their growth through engaging activities and compassionate care Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young minds!
