Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Special Education Teacher for the 26/27 school year! This full-time contract position offers a dynamic opportunity to support K-5 learners in a supportive and innovative educational setting near Freeport, ME. Desired Qualifications:
Current Maine 282 certification CHRC certification (fingerprinting clearance) Ability and willingness to complete Safety Care training Experience designing and implementing positive behavioral support plans Familiarity with academic, social emotional, and behavioral support frameworks Understanding of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Experience working with K-5 students in special education settings a plus
Key Responsibilities:
