Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and hands-on Preschool Curriculum Coordinator to support the daily functioning of our preschool. This role ensures smooth school operations, maintains compliance and safety standards, supports classrooms, and enhances the overall experience for children, families, and staff. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone who enjoys balancing administrative responsibilities, working in a school environment, and being actively involved in day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a leadership position in early childhood education. Key Responsibilities Daily Operations & Safety Conduct daily health and safety checks across classrooms and common areas Manage afternoon dismissal, ensuring children are released safely to authorized caregivers Oversee daily closing procedures to ensure the building is secure and ready for the next day Administrative & Compliance Support Review student files monthly to ensure all required documentation is complete and up to date Maintain organized records in compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements Track and follow up on missing paperwork with families and staff Support preparation for inspections and audits Marketing, Communication & Family Engagement Capture and share classroom moments through photos and posts (e.g., Facebook or school platforms) Assist in maintaining a positive and consistent online presence Support family engagement efforts through communication and updates Support school events and community-building initiatives Classroom & Teacher Support Ensure classrooms are properly set up, organized, and labeled according to school standards Assist teachers with lesson planning, material preparation and other support tasks as needed Support lesson plan implementation and troubleshooting Reinforce classroom systems and school-wide expectations Qualifications CDA, associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field (preferred) 2+ years of experience in a preschool, childcare, or school setting Preferred Qualities Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable using technology and social media for communication Ability to be hands-on, proactive, and flexible in a fast-paced environment Able to take initiative and solve problems independently Detail-oriented and highly reliable Warm, professional, and team-oriented Passion for early childhood education
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
