As a Preschool Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing developmentally appropriate curricula that promote early childhood education, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. Your leadership will guide a team of educators and support staff to create a positive, inclusive space where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives during their crucial early years while working in a vibrant educational community. Duties Develop and implement age appropriate comprehensive lesson plans aligned with early childhood education. Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that supports the social and emotional development of all preschool children. Manage daily classroom routines, behavior management strategies, and individualized learning plans to ensure each child's developmental progress. Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support early intervention initiatives. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to maintain high-quality classroom management and instructional practices. Conduct assessments to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly. Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, lesson plans, and compliance documentation in accordance with childcare regulations. Skills Extensive knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies. Proven experience in curriculum development across diverse early childhood settings including daycare, preschool, or private schools. Strong classroom management skills with the ability to nurture positive behavior management techniques. Expertise in working with children with special education needs and implementing inclusive teaching practices. Proficiency in literacy education, math instruction, teaching physical education, and Montessori methodologies. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate standardized testing results and promote holistic growth. Familiarity with toddler care protocols, childcare regulations, and childhood welfare standards.
