Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Young Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. As a key leader in our classroom, you will create a warm, engaging space where children can explore, learn, and grow. Your role will involve developing innovative curricula, implementing best practices in childhood development, and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity and social-emotional growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early learning experiences while working within a supportive team dedicated to excellence in education. Duties Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Manage daily classroom activities, including behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions Collaborate with families to discuss children's progress, developmental milestones, and personalized learning goals Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to support diverse learning needs Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental progress and inform instruction Lead classroom management efforts to ensure smooth transitions, effective routines, and adherence to safety protocols Experience Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills Proven ability to develop curriculum content that promotes childhood development across multiple domains including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills Experience with special education practices and early intervention programs is highly desirable Familiarity with Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, and team members Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and tutoring techniques for early learners Classroom experience in private schools or daycare centers is preferred; certification in early childhood education is advantageous
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
