Position Summary:
Eric L. Knowlton School is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our dedicated team in Berwick. ELKS is a small, collaborative school community serving approximately 200 students in grades 4. As the first point of contact for students and families, the ideal candidate will be a warm, welcoming presence committed to fostering a positive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the main office operations, including serving as the primary contact for families, staff, and the community. Coordinate school-wide communications, such as distributing time-sensitive paperwork and informational flyers. Support administrative logistics, including managing staff coverage, maintaining cumulative student folders, and ordering supplies. Assist with essential school events Perform general clerical duties, including filing, faxing, and document preparation for staff and administration.

Highly organized and reliable, with the ability to work effectively across various school settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on creating a supportive atmosphere for a diverse student body.
