Preschool Substitute Teacher

Essential Duties:

Properly teach and manage classroom of preschool students Encourage student participation and foster a positive learning environment Maintain safe environment Interact and engage with children and students Motivate children with positive redirection

Qualifications:

Experience with children/teens in a formal/informal setting High School Diploma for ECE/Preschool Adaptable•Reliable•Flexible Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for connecting with students

Physical and Mental Requirements:

Frequently sit, bend, grasp light or fine manipulation, talk and hear Frequently stand and/or walk, write by hand Stands for periods outside in the sun to monitor children for recess, PE, or play-time Occasionally lift, carry, push, pull objects that weigh up to 60 pounds Occasionally twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, work above the shoulder, sit on the floor Comply with safety policies and protocols activated by the school Climb up/down stairs and hills
