Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and specialists to support each child's individual learning plan and overall well-being. Manage classroom routines effectively, ensuring smooth transitions between activities while maintaining discipline and fostering social-emotional skills. Maintain detailed records of student development, attendance, lesson plans, and behavioral notes in compliance with childcare standards. Skills Extensive knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development theories, and classroom management techniques. Proven experience working with children in daycare settings or private preschools; familiarity with toddler care is a plus. Strong curriculum development skills with an emphasis on literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and special education needs. Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions and emotional growth. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Competence in lesson planning using diverse educational tools including Montessori methods and standardized testing approaches. Experience in working with students requiring early intervention or special education accommodations; understanding of child welfare practices is advantageous.
