Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years. In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes early childhood development, literacy, social skills, and curiosity. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and active participation from all students. Plan and execute engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of preschool children, including toddlers and children with special education requirements. Monitor and assess student progress through observations, standardized testing, and formative assessments; adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and specialists to support each child's individual learning plan and overall well-being. Manage classroom routines effectively, ensuring smooth transitions between activities while maintaining discipline and fostering social-emotional skills. Maintain detailed records of student development, attendance, lesson plans, and behavioral notes in compliance with childcare standards. Skills Extensive knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development theories, and classroom management techniques. Proven experience working with children in daycare settings or private preschools; familiarity with toddler care is a plus. Strong curriculum development skills with an emphasis on literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and special education needs. Ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions and emotional growth. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Competence in lesson planning using diverse educational tools including Montessori methods and standardized testing approaches. Experience in working with students requiring early intervention or special education accommodations; understanding of child welfare practices is advantageous.
