What you'll do Design and implement innovative lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and physical education through hands-on activities. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports childhood development and encourages positive behavior management. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress and address any concerns regarding child welfare. Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies and tailored educational approaches. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress, utilizing standardized testing methods when appropriate. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education and Montessori methods. Maintain a well-organized classroom that promotes effective classroom management while ensuring all materials are accessible to students. Create opportunities for children to explore their interests through play-based learning experiences. Experience Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques is highly valued. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues alike.
