Preschool Teacher / Early Childhood Educator

Preschool Teacher Aid for Preschool Promise 2026-2027 Float Teacher/Instructional Support Person Infant/Toddler Assistant Teacher Afternoon/Closer Teacher Position Details We are currently seeking both part-time and full-time team members. Schedules may vary based on classroom needs and enrollment growth.

Possible schedules may include:

Monday-Friday Morning shifts Afternoon closing shifts Flexible part-time opportunities Responsibilities Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth Assist with classroom management and daily routines Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization Document children's learning and development through Brightwheel Support potty training and self-help skill development Participate in lesson planning and classroom activities Follow all licensing and health & safety requirements Qualifications Experience working in a licensed childcare or preschool setting required for at least 2 years Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to manage a classroom in a calm and positive manner Passion for early childhood education Dependable and professional Must meet Oregon Early Learning Division requirements including: Central Background Registry (CBR) CPR/First Aid Food Handlers Card Safe Sleep training (if applicable) Introduction to Child Care Health & Safety (ICCHS) Preferred but not required: CDA Step 7+ Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field What We Offer Supportive and welcoming team environment Opportunities for professional growth and continued education Leadership opportunities within a growing program Paid training opportunities Classroom collaboration and support Competitive wages based on education and experience

Starting at $16/hour

DOE Preschool Teachers:
