Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their early childhood education journey. In this role, you will create a vibrant, engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional development, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm for working with children and expertise in early childhood education will help foster a love of learning while supporting each child's unique developmental needs. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among preschool-aged children. Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques. Conduct assessments to monitor each child's progress, utilizing tools such as standardized testing and observational data to inform instruction. Collaborate with families to support children's development at home and address individual needs related to special education or early intervention programs. Incorporate lesson planning for diverse activities including toddler care, literacy education, and hands-on learning experiences. Foster inclusive classroom practices that promote child welfare, respect for diversity, and developmental milestones in childhood development. Experience Prior classroom experience working with preschool or preschool children in a daycare, private school, or early childhood education setting. Knowledge of curriculum development techniques across various educational frameworks such as Montessori or traditional methods. Experience with classroom management strategies that support positive behavior and engagement among young learners. Familiarity with special education principles and early intervention strategies tailored for young children with diverse needs. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and support staff. Background in teaching physical education, literacy education, or tutoring within early childhood environments is highly desirable. Demonstrated understanding of childhood development stages and best practices for fostering social-emotional growth in preschoolers. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
