Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference this summer by supporting young learners with essential occupational therapy services in an educational setting. This contract opportunity provides coverage for Extended School Year (ESY) programming, serving a caseload focused on children from birth to age 3. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in early childhood settings and are passionate about helping young students build foundational skills. Begin your assignment on June 15, 2026, and work through July 24, 2026, with the following scheduled breaks: no school on June 19 and from June 29 to July 3. The contract follows a Monday through Friday schedule, with daily hours to be confirmed by the district. All candidates must have a current Minnesota Occupational Therapy license. Submissions without an attached license and resume cannot be considered.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Minnesota Occupational Therapist (OT) license Experience working in school or early intervention settings (birth to age 3 preferred) Comfortable collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized interventions
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services for young children Develop and deliver individualized intervention plans to enhance student participation and development Document progress and maintain detailed records to support student goals Consult with teachers, caregivers, and other specialists to ensure cohesive care Adjust interventions as needed based on student progress and team feedback Take the next step in your career by making an impact during the ESY session.
