Job Description
Kenyon International, Inc. is the largest manufacturer in North America of two burner ceramic glass cooktops and high-quality stainless-steel electric grills. Founded in 1931, we've spent the last 80 years engineering smart designs that have changed the way people think about cooking, while providing exemplary customer service. We are looking for a Press Brake Operator to join us at our location in Clinton, CT. In this role, you will setup and operate machines to bend metal according to print in a production environment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review instructions, work orders and prints to understand specifications of output.
- Choose the correct tools and setup the machine to produce the part according to print.
- Dimension part using calipers to verify its accuracy; compare to print.
- Monitor machine throughout job to ensure consistency of parts produced.
- Keep records of approved and defective parts for reconciling at end of job.
- Perform routine machine maintenance.

High analytical acumen. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, blueprints, and department manuals. Basic math and computer skills. Ability to prioritize work tasks, multi-task, and maintain focus. Understanding of Production procedures. Class 1,4,5 fork lift experience preferred; Company will provide certification for the right individual.Job Type:
