Press Brake Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities Set up and operate press brake machines to produce accurate bends according to detailed blueprints and specifications Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure precise fabrication Program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) press brake machines for complex bending tasks, optimizing machine performance Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality standards Perform routine maintenance on machinery, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times Conduct quality inspections of finished parts using precision measuring instruments and visual checks to meet strict tolerances Collaborate with team members on fabrication projects involving CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, welding, and other manufacturing processes Requirements Proven experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing or fabrication environment Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in CNC programming and setup procedures Ability to read complex blueprints and interpret GD&T specifications accurately Knowledge of various fabrication techniques including plasma cutting, CNC laser cutting, electrical discharge machining (EDM), stamping presses, and welding processes Skilled in using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality inspection Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and machine adjustments Familiarity with safety procedures related to crane operation, sheet metal handling, and machining equipment Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality Join us as a Press Brake Operator and become an integral part of our manufacturing excellence!
