Job Title:

Press Brake Operator Job Description The Press Brake Operator will operate Amada press brake machines to execute precise custom projects involving sheet metal with thicknesses ranging from 20 gauge to 3/8 inch. The operator will work directly off blueprints and employ GD&T practices to handle a mix of long and short run jobs each day, requiring familiarity with tight tolerances of +- 0.0001 to +-0.002. Additionally, the operator will assist with preventative maintenance for all fabrication equipment used. Responsibilities Operate Amada press brake machines for custom sheet metal projects. Work directly off blueprints and employ GD&T practices. Handle a mix of long and short run jobs with precise tolerances. Assist with preventative maintenance of fabrication equipment. Essential Skills 2+ years of Press Brake Setup Experience. Experience with GD&T and blueprint reading. Precision sheet metal fabrication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Preferred car type mechanical knowledge. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Solid references based on attendance record. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in an extremely nice climate-controlled fabrication job shop, engaging in custom work with the ability to adjust to various projects and products. Most of the machines are state-of-the-art and only a few years old. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Bear Lake, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
