Responsibilities:

Conducting research on applicable topics Serve as an operational liaison between the Center and the community Some travel is required within the catchment area Developing and presenting programs to update the targeted population

Requirements :

BS degree in a human services related field and 1 year experience in substance abuse including the following: 2,000 hours in substance abuse prevention 100 hours of prevention education training including 4 hours of Prevention specific HIV/Aids education, 6 hours of prevention specific ethics and 4 hours of Managing a Disruptive Audience Behavior and a minimum of 120 hours of supervised practical experience with at least 10 of the following: Individual/Peer Family Community School Must have a signed code of ethics form with evaluations from supervisors or colleagues OR The Prevention Director provides general supervision of the person with a minimum of 2 hours direct supervision each month
