Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Board Certified/Board Eligible:
(with Sports Medicine fellowship training) Completion of ACGME-accredited Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Eligible for medical licensure in New York and New Jersey Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience with ultrasound-guided procedures preferred but not required. We are seeking a fellowship-trained Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician to join our growing non-operative program. This physician will play an integral role in the evaluation and non-operative management of musculoskeletal and personal related conditions while collaborating closely with orthopedic surgeons, spine surgeons and rehabilitation specialists. Position Highlights Outpatient-focused nonoperative/sports medicine practice. Non-operative musculoskeletal care Collaborative orthopedic and rehabilitation environment Access to on-site imaging, physical therapy, and procedure suites Opportunity for ultrasound-guided procedures and regenerative medicine Established referral network and strong patient demand Competitive compensation with productivity incentives Responsibilities Evaluate and treat acute and chronic musculoskeletal and spine injuries Diagnose and manage spine, joints and extremity conditions in active patients of all ages Perform non-operative orthopedic procedures including: Joint injections Ultrasound-guided injections/procedures Concussion evaluation and management Acute injuries Develop return-to-play and rehabilitation plans Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and ancillary staff Participate in community outreach and sports coverage opportunities Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Requirements Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification or eligibility in Sports Medicine. Valid medical license to practice within the relevant in New York and New Jersey. Proven experience in outpatient sports medicine settings with familiarity in managing both acute injuries and chronic conditions. Knowledge of diagnostic radiology techniques iand medical imaging modalities relevant to musculoskeletal injuries. Experience with procedures such as ultrasound-guided injections. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on treatment plans and preventive measures.Pay:
