Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Primary Clinical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and a passion for helping others on their journey to recovery. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions within our Intensive Outpatient Program. This position also offers clinical supervision provided towards licensure.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to establish individualized care plans. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic modalities. Apply evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate client care. Lead psycho-educational groups to enhance clients' understanding and engagement in treatment. Monitor client progress and update treatment plans as needed. Provide crisis intervention services when required. Maintain up-to-date documentation and client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and clinical supervisions.

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or related field. Current, unrestricted license to practice in Connecticut (LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or PsyD/PhD). Minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in an IOP or similar outpatient setting. Strong understanding of substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and group facilitation skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms. Knowledge of community resources and referral processes.
