Remote Our client seeks Principal Systems Analysts to drive analysis and documentation supporting the modernization of brokerage, trading, reporting, and data processing systems to AWS. The role requires enterprise systems analysis, strong requirements and data skills, and the ability to translate complex workflows into scalable cloud solutions. The analyst will collaborate across engineering, product, architecture, QA, and business stakeholders within an Agile model. The program spans APIs, data movement, reporting, and migration from legacy mainframe platforms. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate:

$60.00 to $65.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

+ Analyze existing legacy trading, reporting, and brokerage workflows to support modernization initiatives. + Gather, document, and refine business and technical requirements for cloud migration projects. + Collaborate with engineering teams to define scalable target-state architectures and workflows. + Support modernization of APIs, reporting platforms, data movement processes, and cloud-native application capabilities. + Document current-state and future-state business processes, system interactions, and data flows. + Work closely with stakeholders to identify dependencies, integration points, and migration risks. + Conduct data analysis and mapping activities supporting cloud data migration and reporting modernization. + Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and user story development. + Create detailed functional specifications, process documentation, and acceptance criteria. + Partner with QA and SDET teams to validate business functionality and testing requirements. + Assist with production support analysis, issue resolution, and root cause investigations. + Support phased migration strategies designed to minimize operational disruption and downtime. + Facilitate communication between technical teams and business s
