What You'll Do Lead software validation strategy to ensure high-quality product delivery through early-stage testing and automation Analyze and interpret software requirements to drive optimal testability and coverage Design, develop, execute, and automate test plans across features, systems, and components Build and maintain scalable test environments, infrastructure, and defect tracking processes Drive high automation coverage (target 90%) through innovative test frameworks and tools Establish reusable test scenarios and support test-driven development (TDD) practices Perform vehicle-level validation and collaborate on customer Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing Reproduce and troubleshoot issues identified in customer vehicle testing environments Analyze real-world customer use cases and continuously improve automated test benches Lead defect triaging and customer-facing defect review discussions Develop reporting dashboards and quality metrics aligned with DevOps practices Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred) 10+ years of experience in automotive software development and validation Strong expertise in SDLC, requirement analysis, and software quality engineering Hands-on experience with OEM test benches and automotive validation ecosystems Advanced knowledge of UI automation tools (Selenium, Robot Framework, Appium) Strong programming/scripting experience (Python, CAPL) Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills Ability to independently lead defect triaging and customer interactions Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency What's In It for You Opportunity to work on cutting-edge automotive software and next-generation mobility solutions High-impact role influencing product quality at scale across global automotive programs Collaborative, innovation-driven work environment Career growth through leadership, mentoring, and technical advancement opportunities Exposure to global customers and advanced validation ecosystems Why Visteon Founded in 2000, Visteon has a strong legacy of innovation and a state-of-the-art product portfolio spanning AI-powered digital cockpit electronics, advanced displays, domain controllers, software platforms, and EV power electronics across the passenger, two-wheeler, and commercial vehicle markets.
