Back Print Image Designer North Mississippi Health Services Tupelo, MS, USA May 19, 2026 Job Description Creates complete professional layouts that image properly to press specifications. Conceptualize and design professional printed material to meet the needs of customers, to meet the requirements of HIS document scanning, and to provide effective images for printing. Maintain database of repetitive print job images to simplify the retrieval of images and insure that the current image is available for printing. Assists Supervisor in purchasing printing supplies and purchasing printing from outside sources when necessary. Assists Supervisor in estimating print jobs and maintaining the Print Shop Order Management System to ffectively schedule print jobs and accurately charge customers. Recommends ways to reduce printing costs to customer. Assists in monitoring and adhering to budget constraints. Excellent critical thinking skills, organizational skills, and conceptualization skills.

Requirements:

Incumbent must have a high school degree and at least 5 to 6 years experience in print production design and layout of printed material. Advance skills in Adobe InDesign, Quark, ProDesigner, Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Acrobat and the ability to work independently in these programs. Knowledgeable in computer-to-plate processes and the design considerations required to ensure effective creation of plates. Knowledgeable and proficient in the use of the Print Shop Management System. Basic skills in MS Access, Excel and AMS Material Mgmt System. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Knowledge of legal requirements and specifications for patient forms. Incumbent must have good written and oral communication skills and good telephone etiquette.
