Printing Bindery Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Bindery Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various bindery equipment to ensure high-quality production of printed materials. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of the printing process, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties Operate and maintain bindery equipment, including cutting, folding, stitching, and binding machines. Ensure quality control throughout the production process by inspecting finished products for accuracy and consistency. Collaborate with prepress and graphic design teams to understand project specifications and requirements. Utilize color management techniques to achieve accurate color reproduction in printed materials. Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Operate pallet jacks for material handling when necessary. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the manufacturing environment. Experience Previous experience in a bindery or manufacturing setting is preferred. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly in layout design and typography, is highly desirable. Familiarity with digital printing, wide format operations, plastic coil binding, case binding, tab cutting, cutting, raised spot uv, embroidery, dtf printing , and bindery is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
