Role Overview:
We are seeking a sharp, driven, and high performing Associate or Senior Associate to join our growing investment team. This individual will play a meaningfully role across all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio support, while working closely with the Managing Director and Partners. This is a unique opportunity to become a key member of a lean and growing platform with direct exposure to senior leadership, portfolio company management, and external advisors in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of deal processes, manage diligence workstreams with increasing independence, and while supporting sourcing and portfolio management initiatives. Work closely with the firm's Managing Director and Partners to support investment and portfolio management activities. Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate new investment opportunities. Conduct industry, market, and competitive research to support investment thesis development, including analysis of trends, competitive dynamics, and potential risks. Assist in preparing of investment committee materials and internal memos. Build relationships with key industry professionals and intermediaries to drive deal flow. Support development of sector-level investment themes by researching and tracking specific subsectors. Coordinate and manage workstreams with third-party diligence providers (legal, accounting, consulting, etc.). Participate in calls and meetings with management teams, intermediaries, lenders, and other stakeholders. Support internal firm-building and strategic initiatives as part of a lean, high performing team.
Qualifications:
4-6 years of total professional experience. Candidates should ideally have 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, or consulting, with a focus on M&A. Senior Associate candidates should also have 1-3 years of experience in private equity, growth equity, or another principal investing role. Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong commercial judgement and comfort making decisions with limited or imperfect information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize and present complex topics clearly and efficiently. Self-starter with strong organizational skills and intellectual curiosity. Low-ego, collaborative team player who thrives in a lean, entrepreneurial setting. Experience in healthcare services or consumer multi-site businesses is a plus, but not required.
