Private Estate Groundskeeper

Key Responsibilities Lawn & Landscaping Maintain all lawn areas through regular mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aeration. Apply mulch, manage beds, and keep all outdoor spaces looking pristine and well-groomed throughout the year. Tree & Shrub Care Prune, trim, and shape trees and shrubs according to seasonal schedules. Monitor plant health, identify signs of disease or pest activity, and take corrective action as needed. Pool Maintenance Perform routine pool care including water testing and chemical balancing, skimming, vacuuming, filter cleaning, and equipment inspections. Ensure the pool area remains safe, clean, and inviting year-round. Irrigation Systems Operate, inspect, and maintain all irrigation and sprinkler systems. Adjust programming seasonally, troubleshoot leaks or malfunctions, and ensure efficient water coverage across all areas of the property. Vegetable Garden Development & Management Take ownership of the planning and establishment of a new on-site vegetable garden. Responsibilities include soil preparation, planting, watering, weeding, pest management, and harvesting as crops mature. General Outdoor Repairs & Upkeep Perform minor outdoor maintenance and repairs including fencing, walkways, gates, drainage, and outbuildings. Identify maintenance issues proactively and communicate larger repair needs to the property owner.
