Responsibilities:

Lead group exercise classes, individual exercise classes for residents at Independent Living Facilities. Provide modifications for different fitness levels and abilities Maintain a clean and organized workout space before and after classes Build rapport with participants to encourage regular attendance Stay current with fitness trends and certifications

Qualifications:

Current certification in group exercise instruction or as a personal trainer through an accredited organization preferred. Previous experience working with older adults preferred. Previous experience as a group or individual fitness class instructor preferred. Must have knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must have a current CPR certification. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skill proficiency. Ability to use Microsoft Windows.

Background Screening Requirement:

Employment in Florida is contingent upon completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida AHCA requirements.
