PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

PRN (As Needed) Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a PRN basis in a long-term care environment. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to residents under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, ensuring residents' health, comfort, and overall well-being. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans and physician orders Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Monitor residents' conditions, including vital signs, and report changes promptly Assist in developing, updating, and implementing individualized care plans Supervise and delegate tasks to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulations Respond to resident needs, concerns, and emergencies in a timely manner Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members Qualifications Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Missouri, in good standing Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics preferred Strong clinical, organizational, and critical thinking skills Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a care team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing resident needs Schedule & Availability PRN (as-needed) position with flexible scheduling Must be willing to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers (up to 50 lbs or more with assistance) Why Join Us?
