As a PT Aide, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to ensure excellent patient care and support therapeutic treatments.

Assist Physical Therapists in delivering patient treatments and therapeutic exercisesPrepare treatment areas and maintain cleanliness of therapy equipmentHelp patients with mobility, transfers, and therapeutic activitiesMonitor and document patient progress in electronic medical recordsSchedule and coordinate patient appointmentsMaintain inventory of therapy supplies and equipmentEnsure compliance with safety protocols and infection control proceduresAssist with patient transportation within the facilityProvide administrative support to the therapy departmentDemonstrate proper use of therapeutic equipment to patientsQualificationsGraduate from an accredited college with APTA curriculumCurrent state licensureCPR certificationStrong understanding of medical terminology and basic anatomyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPhysical stamina to assist patients with mobility and transfersProficiency in electronic medical records systemsDetail-oriented with strong organizational abilitiesAbility to work flexible hours, including potential weekendsKnowledge of patient safety protocols and HIPAA regulationsBasic computer skills for documentation and schedulingDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare teamNew graduates are welcome to apply
