• Friday Additional hours as needed to support projects and commissioning Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Process Controls Engineer to support electrical design, automation systems, and project execution across manufacturing and industrial environments.

This role will be responsible for supporting projects from concept through design, installation, and startup , with a strong focus on PLC programming, electrical systems, and automation integration . The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLCs , familiarity with Siemens systems , and a solid understanding of industrial electrical distribution and controls design . What You'll DoControls & Automation Engineering Design and support industrial control systems and automation solutions Program and troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen Bradley required) Support integration of: robotics systems (Fanuc a plus) automated equipment control panels and field devices Develop and maintain control logic including: step sequencing I/O mapping system functionality Electrical Design & Engineering Create and support electrical system designs for industrial applications Develop drawings, layouts, and specifications for: power distribution systems control systems automation equipment Interpret and utilize P&IDs to support electrical design work Ensure designs align with: ANSI, NEMA, IEC, and NEC standards Project Support & Execution Support projects through: layout design construction startup and commissioning Coordinate with: vendors contractors internal engineering teams Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Assist in developing bid packages and project documentation System Integration & Field Support Interface with: field electricians construction teams operations personnel Provide technical support during installation and startup Troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions Continuous Improvement & Technology Stay current with emerging technologies in: industrial automation electrical distribution systems (480V, 2300V, 13.8kV) Apply best practices to improve system performance and reliability QualificationsRequired Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) 2+ years of Controls Engineering experience Strong knowledge of: Allen Bradley PLCs and control systems industrial electrical systems

Understanding of:

PLC programming principles (sequencing, I/O mapping) electrical design standards (NEC, IEC, NEMA, ANSI) Ability to read and interpret: electrical schematics
