Job Description

Manufacturing Engineer leads new product launches, customer-driven process development, tooling coordination, and production optimization from quote through full-scale manufacturing. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) Technical writing experience Customer-facing experience Stable job history Preferred Skills CAD experience for drawing customer parts and ordering tooling Manufacturing experience Textile, nonwoven, or automotive industry experience New product introduction experience Process optimization experience Experience with corrective actions and root cause analysis Experience developing control plans, setup sheets, and work instructions Experience supporting product trials, testing, and validation Job Responsibilities Lead new product introductions from quote through full production launch Develop customer requirements, CAD designs, and tooling specifications Track project progress and timelines as the project gatekeeper Coordinate machinery installation and program launches Improve throughput, yield, and quality across production lines Develop and maintain setup sheets, work instructions, and control plans Identify and respond to quality trends and process variation Lead corrective actions and root cause analysis efforts Translate customer requirements into manufacturing specifications Serve as the primary liaison between customers and the plant Support product trials, testing, and validation activities Define and monitor critical product and process characteristics
