Job Description

PROCESS ENGINEER & QUALITY SUPERVISOR
Kentwood, Louisiana Kentwood Brick is looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Process Engineer & Quality Supervisor to join our manufacturing operations team in Kentwood, LA. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in manufacturing processes, quality systems, continuous improvement, and industrial production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce scrap Supervise quality control activities throughout production Troubleshoot process and production issues Implement corrective and preventive actions Support kiln, extrusion, drying, grinding, packing, and production operations Lead new color implementation and validation projects Train operators on quality and process standards Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, and Plant Leadership teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in: Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering Experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or quality supervision Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills Experience in continuous improvement environments Ability to work cross-functionally with operations teams Industrial manufacturing background preferred Experience in construction materials, brick, ceramic, or similar industries is a plus We offer: $76,000 USD yearly Weekly pay 5 days of paid vacation after 1 year of service
Holidays:
