• RAM Buildings is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Processing & Drafting Specialist to support our post frame construction projects from sale to production.

This role is responsible for preparing construction drawings, processing project documentation, coordinating internally with teams including; Sales, Lumberyard, and Crew personnel, while helping ensure projects move efficiently from concept to construction. The ideal candidate is organized, technically minded, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining accuracy and strong communication. Key Responsibilities Create and revise post frame building construction drawings and layouts Process sold projects and prepare documentation Review project details for accuracy and completeness Coordinate with sales staff, crew managers, vendors, and field crews regarding project specifications Maintain organized project files and update internal systems Communicate with sales team regarding color selections, revisions, and project details as needed Interpret blueprints, sketches, and customer requests into workable construction plans Ensure timelines and processing deadlines are met Participate in pre-construction project handoff meetings with field personnel and answering questions during project Qualifications Experience in drafting, construction design, or construction administration preferred Knowledge of post frame construction strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Understanding of basic building codes and construction terminology preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems; familiarity in drafting programs preferred.
