Processing Technician

Job Description:

This role is responsible for the post-harvest process, including, but not limited to the bucking, drying, curing, trimming, packaging and processing of all plant material to ensure proper status for packaging. The team member may be called upon to assume cultivation duties in between harvests. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, high attention to detail, and the ability to interact positively and effectively in a team environment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Processing cannabis after harvest including bucking, hanging, drying, curing, trimming and packaging.
• Operation of all harvest equipment.
• Sanitation of all harvest equipment.
• Ensure proper handling throughout the transition of product from room to room.
• Assist in the packing and recording of package weights of fresh frozen or dried product.
• Help organize freezer to accommodate space for harvest.
• Maintain consistent cure and processing parameters.
• Help with harvest on a bi-weekly basis.
• Maintain a clean work environment in all respective areas.
• Ensure that proper protective equipment is being used.
• Practice transparent communication with all team members.
• Must stay current and adhere to all state, federal and CCC regulations.
• Demonstrate ethical behavior, build positive team relationships throughout the department and organization.
• Contribute to a fun, team-oriented, and challenging work environment in an innovative and pioneering atmosphere.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check as mandated by the Cannabis Control Commission.
• Experience with large scale, greenhouse grow operations is a plus.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• Metrc and outlaw technology experience preferred but is not required.
• Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
• Previous experience in harvesting or in the cannabis industry is preferred but is not required.
• Previous experience in landscaping or horticulture preferred.
