Procurement Specialist Nuclear Supply Chain

Remote (Must live within 60 miles of Catawba Nuclear Station)

Pay:

$54.00- $64.00 per hour

DOE Qualifications:

Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or materials management Knowledge of competitive bidding processes and bid evaluations Experience negotiating contract terms and issuing contracts Familiarity with Maximo/Emax and/or

PASSPORT/CAS

preferred Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Experience supporting industrial, utility, or power plant operations preferred

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree + 2 years of related experience OR Associate's degree + 4 years of related experience OR High School Diploma/GED + 6 years of related experience

Responsibilities:

Manage procurement of materials and services supporting power plant operations Support competitive bidding events and supplier evaluations Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements Manage purchase orders, contracts, invoice resolution, and logistics issues Utilize supply chain systems and procurement tools to support operations Build and maintain supplier and business unit relationships Support inventory reduction and cost-saving initiatives Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company procurement standards Track and expedite materials for scheduled work and outage support Generate and manage daily, monthly, and quarterly procurement reports Support planned and forced outage activities as needed
