Job Description
The Procurement Trainer is responsible for educating new and existing staff on Procurement procedures and client-specific protocols. This is an onsite position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for Training of New Staff in theFollowing Areas:
New hire orientation, including company and departmental policies Setup and proper use of communication tools MedCheck Select system Specific client systems used in the Procurement processPre-/Post-Training Responsibilities:
Maintain all training guides Remain available to teams for questions Update the manager and/or supervisor on all trainees' progress Conduct periodic refresher classes as neededGeneral Procurement Support:
Assist Support Team with quality control, distribution, email, and documenting procedures Assist co-workers, supervisor, or management to accomplish product goals and identify any potential issues in a proactive manner Maintain HIPAA compliance in all aspects of communications This position requires 30 percent travel as needed Additional duties as assigned New hire orientation, including company and departmental policies Setup and proper use of communication tools MedCheck Select system Specific client systems used in the Procurement process Maintain all training guides Remain available to teams for questions Update the manager and/or supervisor on all trainees' progress Conduct periodic refresher classes as needed Assist Support Team with quality control, distribution, email, and documenting procedures Assist co-workers, supervisor, or management to accomplish product goals and identify any potential issues in a proactive mannerKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Must have the ability to lead and manage a class of new and existing employees HIPAA compliance knowledge Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to learn rapidly and develop understanding of changes Excellent typing skills, minimum of 45 WPM with a high degree of accuracy Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple competing priorities Attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Ability to work in a team environment as a strong team player and leaderEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent 2 years' experience in a professional office environmentPAY RANGE
CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time. For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.Pay Range:
