Produce Clerk

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Produce Clerk to join our team at a grocery store. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the produce section is well-maintained and fully stocked to provide customers with fresh and high-quality products. Duties

• Sell produce items to customers and provide excellent customer service
• Operate cash registers for transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce section
• Manage inventory levels and restock products as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers
• Package and label produce items appropriately
• Fresh Cut Produce Department
• Cutting and prepping fruits and veggies in cooler room Experience
• Prior experience in a grocery store setting is preferred
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory effectively
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Knowledge of proper handling and care of various types of produce

Pay:

$16.25
